This week I have two players at the table, Jahir Sanchez and Jose Reyes. These two players play more towards the back of the field. They both normally play defense, but sometimes Jahir plays midfield. Jose plays as a right or left back and Jahir plays as a center defender or central defending midfielder. These two players are both very strong, physical, and aggressive. But instead of telling you about them together, I will explain each of them individually.
To start off, I will talk about Jahir Sanchez. Jahir goes to school with me at Santa Barbara high school. He played soccer as well, and was on the same team as I. After playing together during high school season, Jahir has introduced me to so many new people that I don’t think I would have ever talked to. Jahir is a great friend and player who I thank for welcoming me into the Santa Barbara high team and helping me out all along the way. Here are a few snap shots of Jahir during club season.
Now on to Jose Reyes. Even though I have talked about Jose in my blog earlier on, I never did a real player bio for him. Well then, Jose is either our left or right back during most games. He is most likely the strongest one on our team since he works out a bunch. And so, Jose goes to San Marcos High School and plays lacrosse right now, but he is still training with us since the practices for club start at seven and go till eight thirty or eight forty five. Back to playing soccer though, Jose can also play goalie for us. I don’t believe I mentioned this in the Vegas Showcase blog, but Jose went in goal and swapped with our goalie, and our goalie ended up scoring a goal. We were glad Jose could do the job because no one else really knows how to play goalie. Jose is a great member of our team and I am not sure what we would do with out him.
Tell me a little bit about your team mates by leaving a comment down below, and don’t forget to like as well.
