This week instead of a player bio that I had planned, I will be talking about the Las Vegas Showcase this last weekend.
So this weekend my team and I traveled to Las Vegas for a college showcase, but it wasn’t really worth going because all of the coaches were at the other fields. There were two locations/sports complexs and we were located at the fields that were just for the U15 age group, where as all the other teams were at the bigger complex for national league. Even though we didm’t do as well as we wanted, we still had fun! We did alright during the showcase, having two wins, a tie, and a loss. We weren’t supposed to play the teams we played because the bracket got switched around.
Here is a photo of the sunrise from our hotel room on our last day. It was super cool and beautiful. The only bummer about the hotel though is that it smelled like second hand smoke every where. I could hardly stand it. I was so happy when it was our last day, but we had to wait in the airport for to long. It took nine hours to just get on the plane, three hours to get off the plane, and finally another hour and a half for the drive home. We got home around 12-12:30. The next day I woke up with a giant headache, and didn’t feel to good. It was most likely due to the lack of sleep.
Here is a photo after the last game in Vegas. We won seven to zero against the 22nd team in Nevada. We even had our goalie come out of goal and he scored a goal. I kind of felt bad for the team because they were our last opponent and we just got back into our groove by then. Those were the first couple of games that we played back, all together except for one guy named Martin. Martin had pneumonia and he still wasn’t feeling better. Tell me a little bit about your trips and how they went. Leave a comment down below and don’t forget to like.
