Week 4 Player Bio (Zyrus Perez)

This week I am writing a player bio for my good friend Zyrus. He plays right and left back, so we switch during the game for each other most of the time. Here is a quick pick of Zyrus in England when we went to Wembley witch is one of the largest stadiums in the world.

Zyrus is a really athletic person, and when it comes to soccer, he has great skills, he is super quick,¬†and he can jump a good height as well. Zyrus also has a great personality and knows how to keep everyone in a good mood. This Wednesday at practice Zyrus and I were sent to stand at a cone by ourselves for a drill, but we didn’t have to do anything, and so we got a couple of balls and tried to hit some top corner shots, other know as top bins if you watch the F2 who are soccer freestylers. Anyways, Zyrus hit two fantastic shots that were perfectly top right and when I mean perfect, I mean perfect, it barely skimmed the crossbar and post at the same time. It was really fun to play with him during practice and it is going to be fun hanging out with him at practices and Nationals for the rest of club season. Here is another couple of photos of Zyrus playing in one of our premier games.IMG_3887
We play down in Irvine which you can tell by the logo through the fence. Driving down got pretty annoying since we had to travel down there all but two games. With that I will continue with talking about Zyrus. Even though Zyrus may be one of the smaller players on the field, he is super tough and is pretty physical with out drawing any fouls. I don’t know if Zyrus has gotten any yellow cards yet, but I think there have been some plays where he should have been called out about. Any ways, Zyrus is a great guy and is a hard worker, and I am glad to be on his team.
